Originally from Racine, WI, there she met her late husband Mark Albright. Mark was a career Navy veteran and they lived most of their life on Whidbey Island, Washington. Living near Oak Harbor, they had two children, Mark Jr., and Sarah. After the loss of her husband, through the help of a mutual friend, Robin reconnected with Mike Miller, a high school sweetheart. They married in 2018 and now reside in Anchor Point where they are building a house.
Professionally, Robin pursued a career in banking starting out as a teller and rising to the position of Vice President of Loan Operations for a regional banking chain. A natural talent with people, administration and organization, Robin joined Hospice of Homer because she wanted to help people who need something to make their life easier in that moment of need. Asked why she connects with Hospice of Homer, Robin said, “Like many people, I’ve experienced my share of loss and grief. Coming from a military background, you learn early, shipmates help shipmates. Whether it’s a broken leg or the loss of the closest person in your life, we’re more than just resources. HoH is family. It’s a community when you don’t know where to turn.”
