Christina began her journey with Hospice of Homer as a volunteer in 2000 and then in the role of Client Services Coordinator between 2002 and 2004. A Homer resident for more than 20 years, Christina has extensive experience working with local and statewide nonprofits in the areas of event coordination, public relations, marketing and fund development. Her passions include writing, photography, travel and community connections. Whether she is hosting writing groups, rock painting groups, photography workshops, adventure conversations or guided hikes, Christina strives to nurture kindness and compassion, and so the HOH motto “Compassion in Action” is dear to her heart.
Holly joined Hospice in June of 2020. After earning a BS in Business Finance, she worked with industry in Alaska and on the East Coast developing her skills in accounting, project controls, budget development, and human resource management. Though she moved to Alaska in 1999, the transition from Anchorage to Homer happened slowly and the weekend cabin out East End Road became a home back in 2017. Holly enjoys relaxing outdoor adventures, traveling just about anywhere, time with her animals, yoga, and a good book.
